Dak Luft and heer m43 help.

I pretty much know these are bad fakes being offered to me as originals but, i would like your opinion from what you can tell.

    Agreed, fake.

Someone is making extremely nice copies though.

The 1942 'infantry' soutached cap is more scary than the officers by a mile...I'd like to see the interior details and stamp...
I can see this re-enactor worn item popping up for sale in a few years time 'with provenance'...
(And you mean LW m41 and Heer m40's I believe?)

No more images available? It will help future collectors spot the more devious pieces if we have more information....

I'm just concerned about the ones that won't be so obvious.

                  Well,
You did the right thing and posted these images for opinion. Hopefully others who might be offered these caps will see this thread and avoid making the mistake of buying one.
An internal image or two of the maker's markings and sweatband would be more than useful for the coming years...
                  Regards,

I am fairly confident that I sold the Luftwaffe cap on here several months back as a reproduction. If not it, then its sibling.

5 years on and this one has appeared for sale.
I'm sure it's from the same batch of fakes.

I therefore think that this cap on Shea's website is also fake.

They look like Walt Kanzler's (Polish?) repros from 15 years ago
