Different wool on SS-VT M34 cap?

Hi Guys,

I have another question that was brought up to me, I know this cap is original, but it has a slight different color to wool on right flap side panel and top of cap, this was an early cap, so why is the quality of wool match different, would this have pasted inspection so early on? arrows mark different wool areas.

The difference in colour may have been even more slight when the cap was new, and simply become evident with age...

would the mismatched color take away from the value? because I'm going to sell it at what I consider a decent price. Here are some more photos.
