Luft Tropical Overseas Cap

I have been looking for a couple of Lufty tropical overseas caps. It seems like I have had nothing but toads and no princesses.

I am attaching photos of one sent to me by a friend. He has had it for years, but was always leery of the red lining. I find nothing on this Berlin maker A.D Janssen & Co.

The insignia is machine zig-zag sewn. Interestingly, the eagle seems to have black reinforcing material, on the reverse.

Please have at it. I am not holding high hopes.

Well, I like the pool in the background, looks very inviting.

But, it is probably 120 degress out there. And, with people jumping over his fence!!

And, I don't like the cap either. Fantasy piece.
