Here's my repro August Müller general's visor. No pinking shears on this one, but a ground-up repro that weighs a ton. The insignia and buttons are legit:

Yup, Don, you have a heavyweight fake. I am still trying to figure out the source of these. Some say Diebel, others Floch. They definately came out of Europe.
Some 20+ years after their creation, they still fool some 99% of collectors--especially the "Erels".

The Erels posted are pretty damned scary, given the sweatband reed and other features. I wonder why they did not take more care with the logo and sweat diamond...
