Litto Kappe opinion. What is it?

    Hi,
I just bought this visor cap on eBay. It was bought as a Wermacht cap. But i am pretty sure it is not. It has got no green piping in the middle section. Grommet holes for cooling on sides – I have never seen that on Wermacht cap? Can anyone tell what this cap is?

    Thanks a lot!

Your thinking is correct, It's a postwar cap.

Could it be a very early East German Grenz-Polizei cap? Try posting it in that forum...

        Agreed; postwar cap.

          Hallo

LITTO KAPPE is the name of the Kappenfabrik LITTOMERICZKY, Langegasse 13, WIEN VIII. In my opinion, a refurbished Austrian early post-war visor, with a fake WH cockade and the ghost of an eagle added on.

          Best regards

Thank you all! Just wanted to make it sure that is not Wermacht cap.

(Paul – pictures had been resized – thanks for remark)

Now, let me check just how much is one protected when using Paypal on Ebay. This cap is going home … to its evil daddy.
