Piping Repair??

Hello,

I found this nice Panzer Officers cap and I'd buy it now if it weren't for the damage to the piping. Does anyone know a simple and temporary way to patch the damage?

I wouldn't want to deceive anyone if I'd resale it in the future, I'd just like to temporarily patch it for my own visual appeal...thanks for all comments

Update, I passed on the Panzer and bought a nice Cavalry that the seller also had. Will post better photos in a week or so when I have it. Piping is more golden/yellow in other photos.

If the Cav was a grand less, and in much better condition, I'd have to say that the Panzer was well overpriced. You made the right call, Karl!

Thanks everyone, I fill good about my decision. By the way the Panzer was also a triple Erel, and the only problem was those two spots of piping.
