    Yes I agree too,

unused originals i.e. eagle which the fakers have got their hands on too to use for "ill gotten" gains or do we have a new generation of fakes i.e. eagle a lot closer to the real deal than we have seen before ???

Some things are not getting any easier as time goes on,

Looks like the officer silver piping is pretty pristine considering the wear & dirt to other parts...not a single snag of wire or cotton piping showing through?

Agree with Andy, officers piping looks new. Interior has fake aging but not along the sweatband, worn grommets look good but not original to cap. And that big beaked eagle again...this one does have the added stitchline around the cap to make the soutache look like it is original too. Don't like the stamp either. jmo Another cap too good to be true.

Guys im with Tim, Andy, Mark T, and Mark G here again. This cap is meant to appear legit and from the outside it does a great job of it. If it were only a few hundred dollars I would take it just to have as a decent filler as a nice officers cap is out of my range at the 8k the last one was offered up at. I liked it at first glance but as pointed out the liner doesn't show any where near the wear as the outside, stamp seems odd, the officers pipping is perfect and the outside has seen some shxt! Someone could argue that he was field promoted but its not likely.... its a cap meant to deceive. Matt
