Infantry Crusher at a decant price

This one just came up for sale for $1650. If I didn't have one already I'd snap it up.

Heck, I almost regressed and bought this beauty--a rare Extramuetzen by C. Louis Weber (they made mostly Zivilmuetzen):

I ought to keep quiet as I really have not actually collected in a long time.
I just like to watch what comes up.
I started in the 50s when most stuff came from vets who were tired of it.

I think that crusher smells bad.
Moth damage to the front, despite description.

Unprofessional hand stitching on both insignia.
My grandmother used to sew on missing eagles and such. Hers makes this piece look like I did it with my clumsy hands.
I have an Infantry Crusher-stitching is invisible.
The cap is probably real-no opinion on that.

Just wondering how the big boys view that insignia application.

Mike, I did notice the stitching on the wreath and that did concern me a little. For some reason many crushers I've seen have a nice machine sewn wreath and a hand stitched eagle.
As for the panzer cap, had I seen it earlier I would have been greatly tempted by it.

The crusher is an early typ, looks well worn- I have no problems with the insignia but like everytime -2 experts,3 opinions.
