it does too, but i think maybe it was transferred to a different unit ? im not a big headgear guy but this could be a reason....

that cap is a veterinary or general staff one with and added ("when" or "why" is impossible to say) red southache all around the pipings. Anyway the work seems to be well made and to change on an ereL with a rare piping with a very common red artillery shall give it a chance to be a wartime opration.

I allso think its look like period dune,but i just havent seen this before on a cap.

The cap is on Klaus Butschek site where you can see the rest of the cap.

Its staff/vet carmine colour under the art soutache piping.

I had the cap in my hands. Its a nice Visor and I think the piping is a wartime change.
