Thanks, and yes, this thread as well as this entire forum is of such a big value to me. There are plenty of reference books but none of them go so much in-depth as the threads discussed here. As a beginner it is great to see that there are people out there that are willing to share their knowledge with starters because in general people usually try to "abuse" the unexperienced for their own benefit.
So thanks to all here

When I started with German militaria I bought an M43 panzercap of which I have doubts (eventhough the seller claimed to be the daughter from a veteran). Most likely it was a waste of money so luckilly I have discovered this forum hehe
I will post pics as soon as I have some quality pics because even though I have doubts it still looks genuinly old and "used". But as you said, it's a minefield indeed hehe
