Are German m43 police caps rarer than Luft or Army m43's? I have been offered one that is of a blueish wool. Going price for these? TIA

Of the 3 you mention, army M43's with original applied insignia are hardest to find, next police, then Luft IMO.
Price depends on condition.

Here is a Police M-43 with the proper Police green cloth which does have a bluish tint to it.

Not a matter of what is "rarer". Heer and Luft are in greater demand. A nice police cap IMO is worth $550.....

I just picked this one up for Very good price. The ware on the cap is textbook. It is missing the patch though. I need to get the glue off first. Anybody know a safe way of getting this stuff off? Anybody have a correct patch for my new cap? Thanks for all your responces!

Original hat IMO, may be tough to get the glue out.

If the glue is water based ( like Elmer's) a warm water soak may work. It won't hurt th ehat to try it.
