                No issues Steve, this just means that it was never issued/used. These caps were found in a large hoard during the late 70's or early 80's but are original. Not sure exactly when as I was a little too young to collect back then.

                      Geez Steve.... the Panzer stuff is a flowing at your end. As I mentioned the other day when you want to add a wrapper to them...... that's when it all starts going downhill..... In a good way though mate.

                          Mark, Yeah, the wrapper thing is a scary thought...maybe one day mate! It's not a coincidence taht some nice Panzer and Fallschirmjager gear is coming my way that's kind of my focus for the moment, and in large part this year's collecting, at least at this stage!

                            Nice cap. Can You post pics of the inside of the grommets & washers ?
                            Many tropical caps from this maker have the washers applied backwords....just curious if this is another one ?
