Political Leader Visor Cap Help Please

    Folks,
I generally don`t deal in anything other than tinnies, but this was just given to me by one of my clients who had it in her closet since the end of the war. Called it creepy and was glad to get rid of it. Anyhow, my questions are, what exactly is it, can it be repaired, is it worth doing so, and what kind of value might it have? Thanks for any help!

    PS,
    Sorry for the bad pics

Chris--glad to see you are expanding your horizons!
The hat is for an NSDAP Kreisleitung Political Leader. It can be repaired, but I would have it done by an expert, such as our own Ben VK.

It should have a brown visor--did the lady find one near it? They are somewhat hard to find loose, compared to the black ones.

well, stonemint is right. the cap is very nice and quite rare. your only solution is to find a brown visor (and it won't be so easy...I've seen only one in the market in all these years) and professionally restore it.
