    Luftwaffe Civilian Employee Visor

Hello I'm looking at this visor on a trade. I think it has something to do with the Air Defense Ministry. The cap is near mint condition and come with a nice armband.

The sweatband is very soft leather like deer skin.

Comes with this nice armband. The material is an exact match but it is close.

These are very nice and scarce items.

But they are not sexy enough for the thrusting young collectors we see in these parts.

If it doesn't involve a Knight's Cross, a paratrooper or a skull, you can forget it!

Very nice condition, and certainly quite hard to find!

Nice hat! Doorman or elevator operator in an Air Ministry building. There is also one with green farbe for those same functions, but I can't remember which is which without going back and looking it up.

Some will disagree but I would say 800 bucks would be a good price to buy them for and a fairly decent price to sell them.. Billbert

These were civilian employees of the Luftwaffe, thus the civil eagle. The LW, in the early days, also had civilian security personnel at air bases and they had their OWN separate hats, uniforms, etc.!
