officer panzer or general staff and luft NCO, HELP

I got this two hats today, so I am wondering what you guys think about them if you need more pictures tell me I will make better ones.
And the one with pink is it general staff or panzer? I was told that it looks like a general staff because of hot pink, but it could be panzer too.
And the luft is signal units?
Both are in great shape, so any info would be appreciated.
I collect daggers so I do not know to much about them.

    thank you Rajko

There are some here who can judge the luft cap better than I, so I won't comment on it other than I would really like to have it in hand to look at it. The other one, whatever it is, I don't like. Is the cap band actually black? Or is it my monitor? I don't like the black underside on the visor, and in your first photo, above the eagle, the piping looks very non uniform in color. My first thought is a good dye job. It's not really "warm pink" of a panzer hat, and as for a match to verterinary or Gen Staff, it doesn't do it for me there either. Take a good magnifying glass, pull the cap body away from the piping & looks for traces of white, or traces of dye on the cap body.

Either way, I wouldn't have it in my collection.

Pink is same all away around it is from the flash that looks it is lighter in some areas. I found on this forum few visors with black underside and they were good.

I didn't go as far as to say it wasn't good, just that I didn't like it. You have to know me, I'm very discriminating, and anything non typical or variant, I don't want. I'm sure I've passed up on a lot of authentic pieces being of that mindset, but I sleep real well after all my headgear purchases.

That is cool, I was just saying that the pink is hard to see on the pictures. I had few people who collect hats, who had them in their hand and said that they think their are good. But they said they are probably private purchase. I had a lot of bad pieces in my hand but this ones feel different in a good way. Plastic inside for the maker is not a plastic that you find in the bad pieces. I just need to be sure that they are good. Thank you Rajko

The pink looks like one of the "so called late erels"to me Jacques. The color is general staff imo. Jacques

                    Hello Rajko,

late war caps have black on the underside of an ersatz pressed (cardboard ?) visor and the piping dye which via my monitor appears to be general staff or vet may not be dye-fast. Because of on-going shortages as the war progressed, not all German dyes were dye-fast and can tend to wash out a bit in places or run through the top/ sides if the cap gets very wet for a prolonged period.

Would need a hands on to say more but looks to be a period late war visor from what I can see,

                    Chris

Can we get a few shots "under the hood" on the pink piped visor? Also where the piping meets at the back.

Here is a "late"Erel for comparison. Same cap as yours. Look for a little cross stitch where the sweatband joins.Jacques

ok when you look at all the pink some little parts the size of the 1 mm you can maybe see some lose of the collor. I got more pictures I hope it helps. The sweatband is attached with the stitching but I cannot see it good because of the cover. Sweatband does feel like a cardboard.
Thank you guys for your input, keep it coming.

On this picture it looks lke the back is faded but like I said before that is because of the flash.
