Interesting visor cap construction

Dear All,

I have just purchased a new visor cap from the e-stand, the construction of which is unusual and, to say the least, very basic. Interestingly, the interior (see picture) never had a sweatshield. Very cruedly is stamped the size "No.57" and that is it!

Has anyone ever come across anything like that before?

Nothing wrong with cap IMO... probably just a variation contract made cap wthout the glass..I would think it might be 35 36 37 dated kind of has a teller (plate) shape appearrance to it UNLESS its just saging a bit.. Billbert
