question about visor manufacturer

I have a visor with the name " Elegant" or " Elagant" followed by " Sondertyp"
Does anybody knows this manufacturer?

I just found out that this manufacturer is ok.
Found a picture with the "Elegant" logo , it's a different one but we now know this is a war-time maker.
Anyone who has more info and/or pictures feel free to post them.

What makes you think that is the same manufacturer? I wouldn't assume because it says "Elegant" that this is the same maker. I would think that "Elegant" stands for the quality of the product and could be used by many manufactures. How about some more pics of the entire cap?

This is an "Elegant" I aquired a number of years ago. I really still don't know what to make of it. I have my doubts.

Here is an "Elegant" I found on Winkler's site a number of years ago. It was on a Luftwaffe summer visor. I cannot vouch for its authenticity, but it appears to be the same manufacturer as your's. Sorry, I don't have an exterior view.

The general's cap I posted above was discussed back in 2002 on another forum without a solid consensus for or against it, but leaning towards the favorable. Hardly a slam-dunk. In one of the posts, a member noted:

It may turn out that the designation "Elegant" is used on US caps but that the label in the general's cap could still be correct (provided its not the same)...just another rendition on the common theme. I have a Polish officer's cap circa 1930's with "Elegant" embossed on the leather sweatband.

RE: The "Elegant" I noted on Winkler's site: it was an enlisted Flak summer visor.
