Army Hat Badge, Help Please

    Army Hat Badge, Help Please

    I just picked up this hat badge. The red center is made from screen. The badge also lays flat. It measures 2 13/16 inches wide? The cockade is DRGM marked. I have never seen one with the center made from screen. Can anyone tell me about this?

        I tis a vented cockade for a frontal ventilation system, generally found on visor caps made by EREL.

        Perfectly fine and genuine.
