    What are your thoughts/Opinions on this M38 Officers Infantry cap ??

      i agree but here is what the cap looked like a few months ago looks like the original insignia threads were picked out as well

            Indeed Lenny,


            That is what it looked like when I sold it a several months ago (I gave it away for $300)


            Same sewing on the eagle and it was not removed and resewn,but it appears the officers cockarde was unfolded and resewn in a diamond, and a Infantry soutache added (the 3 original attachment loops were also removed)


            Sad,sad,sad!!

                Very interesting how far some dealer's will go. Seems to be a handy dealer with needle and thread.
