    WSS officers cap: eagle maker?

This is supposedly a good cap, according to those who are more knowledgeable than I am, and I know that it has an M1/24 skull - but what about the eagle? Not a matching pair, obviously... Any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Mikael

Well, it is a matching set because unless I'm mistaken, that's an Overhoff eagle as well.

To be honest though, the badges are just the iceing on top of what is a stunningly beautiful SS visor cap!

Can we see some picture from under the sweatband?

steiner99, what does that label say? my German isn't great. I've seen similar ones before though on caps that have never been bought or worn.

Thanks...! I just assumed that as the set was not made from the same base metal, they didn't match.
Here is a pic of the "Remove the storage spring(?) before use"-label. I am afraid that I can't have any pictures taken from under the sweatband, as the Ersatz-Leder (pressed paper) is too brittle; someone has tried before, and there are a couple of tears in it. The story goes that this cap was "liberated" from a shelf in some warehouse, and there are no markings what so ever. Never worn, and the moth nip to the top of the rim is the only external damage.
                  I kind of like it...

I KINDA like it too!! Very COOL to see that the internal wire band in the top of the visor caps is for storage only..25-30 years ago I saw a unissued SS visor with no insignia mounted that ALSO had this exact style tag inside..Thanks for sharing!! How do you do on purchase price?? Billbert

                      Great mint hat !!!!!

The label says the hat is rainproof or something like this, you can find it only in "Clemens Wagner" hat.
So this is for sure a CW SS hat

For those who have asked price-related questions; I have no plans to sell it, none what so ever (right now) - and, Billbert, as for what I paid for it some ten years ago...? I don't think I dare disclosing that... Or...? Let's say that it was less than a tenth as much as I would get today - selling the insignia only...
                          - I know, isn't that frustrating!!

I'd say from your perspective it shouldn't be that frustrating
