Nice! Unique crazing to the peak. Do you have a dedicated thread for this visor?

This cap was first shown here: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...+visor&page=15

A lot of the "usual suspects" immediately denounced it as fake UNTIL ironclad provenance was demonstrated. Taught me a LOT about how some people here think.

                        Leroy,

That is a stunner of a crusher! Congrats on owning such a rare piece of history! Matt

Pertaining to Luftwaffe Crushers ..My question would be.. I agree that all the caps posted are made into the crusher shape and style.. BUT do they have the same flimsy bendable interal cap band as the Made to regulation ARMY crushers do.. A friend has a Luftwaffe officers erel visor that had the internal band period removed.. wellla LUFT CRUSHER.. great cap !! Bilbert

How I missed the photos of your HG cap in that thread is beyond me. Prehaps it was the pages and pages of hot air that put me off looking any further.

May I suggest something? A cap like that deserves some high quality photos taken of it, prehaps by a professional. I think the problem with the other thread was that the photos were small in size and poor quality which didn't help the cap stand on it's own merits at all. It deserves a lot better.

Outstanding cap Leroy!!! All these wonderful Luft "crusher looking" caps are outstanding as well. I'm like the rest, when I say, Gotta have one.
