Is this a NSKK crash helmet?

Hi all,

I have just found this leather crash helmet. But unfortunately there are NO markings what so ever on it. There is a 60 mark on the visor.

Is this an original WWII NSKK crash helmet or...

I believe so.... It is missing the large eagle on the front and leather padding (the actual liner)inside (This is where any markings would be). You may have better luck posting it in the NSKK section of the forum...

it looks like an nskk helmet bud there are 4 holes in the helmet
and the eagle head is not turned to the left on your helmet

I have been looking through the NSKK thread, but could not find one that looks like mine.

I can see that the eagle head is turned the other way, but did any one else use these helmets.

How can I move this thread to the NSKK section???

It looks very much the same. Mine does not have the holes for the ears but a piece of leather, but does that matter?
