M34 Cap - Out of Woodwork - What Branch Soutache Is This?

Sharing a cap I picked up recently. No markings I can find, looks about a size 56. Other than under the folds on top and under flaps, most nap is gone, but the cap is still in great shape. Insignia has "settled" in nicely. One little bit of soutache remains, it looks like transportation to me. Agree?

Nice nap still under flap, can see side of eagle and branch color. Transportation?

I was under the assumption that light blue was medical?

Waffenfarbe for medical is a much darker blue.

Medical blue is more like the cornflower blue used for long service medal ribbons. I would say Transport also. Nice find!
