Luftwaffe EM- Turkey in the Mail

I bought this on bad pics, this is what showed up.

My question is, is this Bundeswehr? I have never seen any Bundy uniforms using this material or style. Or is it some sort of Frankenstein?

Plastic on the maker shield. The black em cord and the material itself. Every LW visor I have handled has not had this blue material color. Even the maker logo looks like 50s type of German eagle. Maybe I have just not encountered a visor made from this material? All mine have been that Luftwaffe grey, this one is really blue.

Nothing on the maker Ben, I searched it on the net. What are your thoughts on the visor? I tried matching up a Bundy style also to no luck.

It is very blue for a wartime cap.
Have a look inside the cap to see if it had a Bundeswehr badge on the front. Has it got an eagle? I can't see. Have a look for extra holes behind that as well.

I just went ahead and took the insignia off, there were no signs inside the hat of BW insignia.

On the exterior you see a shade of where the TR eagle was, on the outer band there are only 2 holes from where the cockade was.

But whats up with this color???

Ben is right about the color being very blue for a wartime cap. I do have a pre-war tunic to a Geschwader General Wever member (and Condor Legion vet) of this exact shade.

Perhaps someone like Stonemint could comment on the maker label.

Pre war was also a guess on it. Tony, the piece just really threw me for a loop. Huh just ran through my mind when I took it out of the box.

The colour actualy looks ok in the last pic. The only thing left is that you said the shield is plastic, you sure? Everything else looks wartime manufacture to me.

Like a hard cellophane, most my visors especially LW never have the shield diamond in them. Maybe Iam drinking to much coffee Ben and over analyzing items lately.
