ok here are the pix - still no interior shots as yet tho I've asked for some...

in close-up at hirez the eagle seems to be hand-sewn --- but well if the stitching doesn't go thru the lining as they say it should be machine-sewn b/c it was done in a FACTORY, right?

I think in the field a soldier wd. not take the time to pull his cap apart just to put on the insignia, then re-assemble it.

While we are on the topic of these caps, how common was it to have a HEER panzer M43 be assembled using these resin-type buttons instead of metal pebbled ones?
