Paul Caps Luftwaffe Officer visor cap for review

Hello Gentlemen,
What are your thoughts about this Paul Kaps Luftwaffe officers visor. The lining is the typical Paul Kaps lining in artificial black silk and without sweatshield. My question is the sweatband, which is the man-made alkor variety. This is an earlier example visor cap, as seen by the early first pattern, small eagle. The other examples by the maker I have seen have had a leather sweatband.
I look forward to hearing some opinions.

It is a VERY nice cap.

I suppose I'd look for any sign that the sweatband has been replaced and, if so, whether the work looks old. Even if it has, the rest of the cap is enough to make me want to buy it!
