Is This SS Camo M43 Hat Good or Not

A friend has this hat he would like to use in a trade with me, he 's had it about 20 years, he doesn't go to military shows anymore or have a computer so he's also looking for a value. I'm not familiar with the camo M43's at all but would like to get it if it's good. Thanks, Chuck
