Even from my limited experience with these caps, I would give this one a much quicker than the other one I brought up for discussion (the one with the underside black visor and cotton top). Beautiful cap Ron!!!

Sorry I don't want to be the devil's loyer, I like the outside of the hat but I don't like the inside logo of CW.
It seems to be printed on the sweatshild ,if is it, is a really bad sign.
CW never printed his many different logos on the sweatshild but on the fabric under it.
Just my opinion and my knowledge
              Carlo

              PS
I would like to hear the opinion of NTZ and Stonemint

                Carlo,

Sent to Nick a couple of years ago along with a number of other General's Visors for his examination.

                Quote...."I like this one".

                Best regards,
                Ron

                  Hello my friend Ron,
I'm not against your hat but for my knowledge I know for sure that CW didn't applied the logo on the sweatshild but on the lining diuring the war .Also Wilkins says this in his book, look to the pinned thread 'repro/fake' post # 40 it's also a withe top hat :
                  http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...=206193&page=3

Stonemint posted a similar logo .
May be was too much time ago you sended it to Nick ,the knowledge improoved these lasts years, peraps he can changed his mind now.
                  We must hear his voice
                  Ciao

                    Hi Carlo,

I'm quite sure that there is an exception to the rule here. The cap looks right at all counts, maybe CW did print their logo on the sweat diamond after all.

                    All the best,

                      Very nice visor !

Just a question about the eagle..

It's sewn to the cap I presume, hence all the stitches all around, but I see a couple of heavier stitches, what are they for, what are they holding ?

                      Jos.

Lets see a few other Luft white-tops from the same maker to see how their logos are printed. Either way, there are too many things RIGHT with this cap to make me concerned about the printing of the logo in this case...

Ok ,I'm the only one don't like this hat.The eagle and the wreat are surely original and also some parts of it ,but taking another look to it I see another red flag. The way the sweatband is sewn to the hat is not regular for a CW hat is similar to a Pekuro ,if you see there is another fabric between the sweatband and the hat body.I never see this way on a CW ,probably I'm wrong, but I sill would like to know the opinion by Stone and Nick to be sure

I would like to see some pics under the hood.

Hmm, I missed this "detail" before. I'm with you regarding the unusual SB attachment style for Clemens Wagner. A post war replacement maybe?
