    Panzer Sidecap II

    Hello,

This one is another example of Panzer sidecap I Have.
I restored with original insignia and origina Period black thread!

Soutache period removed,it comes out from a fleamarket near Leipzig

Very well Marked and dated 1940,Size 56

    Condition is super
95% of Nap still present, green vent holes paint is fully there, the Soldier added a central seam on the liner to give that typical Narrow look to the cap(some soldiers added a PIN)

Thinking of putting it on estand but lets see and think about it first!

    Cheers

    Daniele

Apart from the replaced insignias , looks like a really nice side-cap .

...of course, but after you unstitched all the seams, took apart both rivets, dyed with a nice black varnish, restitched the seams and remount the rivets!
It's symply and it cames a good work!
