The crash helmet appears to be an original, and seldom used if ever.

The beret tam...hard to say from these photos, much closer inspection called for, sure the light through the circular weave would help, but not all original tams had the weave that you could shine a light through. Some were very dense with no circular weave visible.

The white insignia variations appear to be classic repros, double straight stitched on which I would not find to be TR standard. Excess material not folded under correctly to conform to 90% of other TR sewn headgear insignia.

Here is an example of the gray subdued insignia sewn in one of three proper forms...zig zag, straight stitched, and hand sewn or a combination of any of the three, all are acceptable on original tams properly executed, which may be in the eye of the beholder.

        Turbopanzer,

The quickest way to tell on a panzer (or any other) bevo Heer cap eagle is to look between its legs.

When the eagles legs are wide apart and form an upside down "V", you've been screwed. There are quite a few threads showing these eagles and they are always referred to as fakes.

It just means you have some bad insignia on the tam, and that can be restored and your investment salvaged rather well. As long as the tam checks out.

Personally, I would find slight comfort with a beret tam that did not exhibit this quality. And, regrettably, having this characteristic is far from the entire story IMHO.
