    It is not fire damage.... It was most probably stored in a hot attic for several decades,hence the damage/aging to the leather visor/sweat diamond.

        While caramelizing is common to USA visors, it is rare to see on TR visors.

        When you do see it, it mostly appears to be on crushers, like this one on the e-stand:

          Stonemint, very true.

          Also, the logo on Kurt's looks like Marke Standard, so I believe the maker would be JC Kornacker, no?
