Art Visor Cap

First of all, welcome! good to have new members interested in caps.
Overall, you have what looks to be a genuine Artillery Officers visor cap.
However, this stitching I've highlighted in red is a bit strange . It's not the norm to see the side lining panels stitched to the cap in this way and only in some places like we can see here. The stitches I've marked in green are the ones that usualy on their own hold the side panels on most caps.
Or maybe I'm just seeing where the top of the side panels have been folded over then stitched?
It's interesting that you took a photo of this exact area. Did you also think it strange?Attached Files

Just a comment.
I owned a similar cap years ago.
It had the same thumb wear to the inside of the bill.
That from frequent grasping during wear or removing, putting on.
It also had a significant amount of wear at the rear on the cloth edge and on the bottom piping from being worn and rubbed from the same actions.
Don't see it here.
