I think this looks like the interior of a genuine (late war?) Erel "Privat" visor cap, but lack the experience to tell for sure...

I don't see any red flags yet , can you post more picture of the visor cap ??

Can we please see the rest of the cap. It's infantry for sure, I hope it's not an W-SS cap.
