                      Another rarely seen cap, a Luftschutzpolizei NCO. Officer's caps are sometimes found but this is the only NCO I have personally ever run across. No evidence of this being a converted air force. Seems to have been made in this configuration. Most cheaply made cap I have ever owned. Since a schirmmutze was NOT part of the LSP NCO's standard uniform I surmise this cap was produced for some special function or event.

                      Green piping on caps and shoulder boards was specified for all branches of the LSP, even though three different colors were used on eagles and collar tabs. Strange outfit!
