    Interesting Army Tropical cap in wear

    Hello everybody,
    I want to share a nice portrait of a Pioneer wearing a field-cap which is not exactly what I am used to see.
    Is it a taylor made one? What do you think?

              EXCELLENT photo.
              He's wearing the m40 variant, as seen below.
              The image is clear enough to see the stitching pass over the cocade, with the typical 'baseball' cap profile.

                thank you very much for identifying the cap and for posting the pic of it, I've never seen it before. Is the interior red as in the other models?

                          thanks for providing the links, really a unique cap!

                          Unfortunately the picture is not dated but this document is from the same soldier and is dated June 43, so it must be summer 43 or summer 44.
