I'm going to bite the pillow and make the first comment...

The sweatband and liner are superb. That maker mark of Wagner's is crisp and has no bleed of the print and shows that it is precise to in its print transfer from the die stamp, to the cloth. (It is not like those Wagner's that I don't like)

The liner looks very nice and it shows no signs of being messed with pleats wise or ageing.

                Is the visor pressed paper?

If it is I'd say the cap looks real with added chin cord period or not who knows.

This cap looks a lot like the orange piped one I have posted before. The acid test is really does it crush side to side on the cap band and pop back out again.

If it does then your onto a winner.

Here is the thread to mine for comparison

I think it is a great cap, I would love to own it. The combination of insignia and cap cords makes it a nice variation. Jacques

Thanks everyone, this cap is selling for what I think is a good price, under 3K US. I'm going to talk with my business partner (wife) and see if I can secure it.

Although it does not appear to me to be a franky cap.. the top material is the same as each and every enlisted ranks contract cap..so look once twice before you pull the trigger JMHO Billbert
I m on a slow mend back to better by the way thanks..

Thanks Bill, that's true. It seems that 90% of these were made of better wool. Get better soon!
