              Is the "stiffener" material of the band hard clear celluloid, or some other material (cardboard)?

                    Sorry but I think it is a early Bundesmarine Donald's Duck Cap.
                    On the good WW2 there is a mika stiffener (offfen with parts broken) and on this one there is not...
