        I now see that Cliff, to his credit, posted this cap in here yesterday for opinions and none were given.

        A post-war cap with artificial aging, IMO.

            Hi Steve, I don't think it is Swiss. Some of the pics do seem to have the typical Swiss "mottling", but I'm thinking that is dirt/wear.

              The construction of this cap resembles the WSS M-42 cap, not a good sign for a fieldmade Wehrmachtcap. From the pictures, I have doubts.

                Thanks for the opinions. I did post it for discusstion first. I've had a lot of M$@s and 43s. In hand this really looks like honest wear. I thought at first it might have been a zelt chopped up but many spots in hat show real head wear and signs it was worn while in form of hat.
