I would appretiate info regarding this cap. Pasteboard (not paper) and behind inner lining band (black filth) are strange to me??
Is this a period cap? Insignia could be original, i feel the distance on black band is very high, even with the leather strap not present. Best regards, Gisle

I'm not into ss visors but personally i don't like it , let see what do the others say about this cap.

First, the insignia are not original. I see all kinds of holes behind the sweatband. Can you show a photo of the front of the pastboard where the skull is attached. I would like to see if there are other holes.

I like the gray visor and gray band, but the sweat band does not match the condition of the exterior, of the hat.

Is the sweat diamond the crisp celluliod or a softer material? It looks to be very pliable, which is of concern.

The sweatband is of the Pekuro stule but is rather badly damaged from either poor handling or having been placed into that hat at a later date.

I would be uncomfortable.

Gisle, the proportions of the cap as a whole seems odd and the liner is fitted very shoddely. Put together I would say. Jacques
