KM M43 insignia question

I have a question regarding the national cockade on this KM officer's M1943 Einheitsfeldmütze. You can see a metallic reflective glint off of it in the photo. Were these ever issued to officers with a metal cockade, or perhaps with metallic bullion hand embroidered cockade?

Here's a (fuzzy) closeup. I understand the Luftwaffe caps sometimes had the hand embroidered cockades. Did the KM issue caps sometimes have these as well?

Totally possible, as officer caps were not issued, but purchased by the officer.

Thanks Gerard. So then that glinty reflection could possibly have been off of a cockade like either of the ones below.
And yet I haven't found any examples. Has anyone ever seen an example of a Kriegsmarine M43 with either of these types of cockade? Or more period photos suggesting this configuration?

Was probably added by the officer and pinned over the 2 piece cloth insignia that was already on the hat.

You often see this done in period photos,metal eagles etc pinned over the top.
