Couple of questions on M34 caps

    Hello,

I just picked up these overseas caps and had a couple of questions, this is out of my area. By looking through other posts and from Dealers sites I was able to find that the Alfred Valet maker marked cap is a standard M34. My question is why are some of the stamps been marked out with ink pen?

The unmarked cap without vent holes I wasn't able to find a match either online on on the forum. But here's my guess, it's a Tropical M34 without vent holes and no makers mark?

Thanks for your help with this.

The "Valet" marked cap appears to be original. It was used by the Statni film company after the war (do a search). Many of the stampings are associated with the film company inventory. The insignia of the caps from this company are usually replaced.
The second cap is not tropical... It appears to have Org. Todt insignia but I don't have enough experience on this groups O.S. caps to add much more. I am a bit dubious of it but could well be wrong.

John, It's clear now that the two blocks marked out say "statni film". Thanks for your help. I'll start looking at OT side caps for comparison to the other. Thanks again for your help and pointing me in the right direction, Ron.
