    Luft M43 cap for review

I have been looking for one of these caps to complete one of my fliegerblouses and this one is in my price range (less than $500). It comes from a reputable dealer with a money back guarentee.
Look at the pics and let me know your thoughts.

Original. But I would expect to see a cockarde as well so perhaps the eagle is replaced,or the cockarde was just removed.

              Hello

              Cap itself is good!!
From the pics , can't say if the eagle is period applied and....something is missing...no?

I have a nearly identical cap (same RB# ending in a small 3, same date) but mine is a size 57. The insignia on my cap is hand sewn so I would expect this cap to be the same way

From what I understand, not all Luft M43s had cockades, and those that don't aren't necessarily female caps either. I think that at the later stages in the war, you would've been lucky to get a cap at all, cockade or not. My late-war cap never had one either.
