Erel Green Piped Officer Visor

I found one more in my collection. This cap has a green that is not as dark as Dunklegrun (really black green) of admin, but more of Grass Green.

However, with the vast difference in prestige for the Gebirgsjager colour, this is one for the forum to decide.

Being into waffenfarbe, I would agree on it being Admin. The confusion with the greens are normally between the Panzer Gren and GJ shades which are lighter and brighter. Very nice cap anyhow. Jacques

Just out of interest, does the lack of the rectangle containing "privat", "extra" etc enable one to date the cap's manufacture?

Man, it just be RAININ' Erels today! That shade is a real tweener, IMO. I would actually vote for Gebirgsjäger or Jäger, but we could probably debate that til the cows come home. The green on my piped Admin tunic is, as JT said, almost a "black" green. The color on this is close to my GJ piped tunic, but a shade darker, perhaps. Freakin' Germans and their unreliable Waffenfarbe!
