          TeNo Side Cap - Unusual

          Hi Ed,

Your TeNo/TN Side Cap - is a pretty neat one and it is quite Unusual, in that the TN triangle is sewn to a side flap! (Instead of being in the front.)

Construction, material and the hooks, are typical and correct for the TN.

This lighter blue TN triangle is mistakenly sometimes called the 'Officer model' as it is most often seen on Officer's side caps. But, it is also seen on NCO / EM Side caps as well - so the term is a misnomer.

This configuration is a 'new one' for me, but it is very attractive. The TN did have female members, even into the TR. If the size is relatively small, this could 'perhaps' fit into that pretty unknown category. (To my knowledge, there are no photos or any printed information on the female TN member's uniforms or head gear.)

Hopefully, someone else will know more! Txs, Dave / dblmed

Thanks for the reply and that may explain why I've seen nothing on this style. Ed
