I am the owner of this side cap. Gerd was so kind to post the pictures for me.

Is it strange that this late war overseas cap has got the machine stiched bullion and eagle ?

So many viewers so far and no opinion... Seems this is a problem cap, certainly for a very common piece as a LW side cap.

I do not like the eagle being machine sewn through the lining. I have never seen this on a real one.
