        Very neat! I like the early leather visor style. I can't see the ventilation holes--are they done with standard grommets?

              Thanks! yes, early grommets. I'll post a photo of 'em. No history other than an old loft find. I rather like it and just wanted to get a few takes on it from my fellow members
              I suspect its a 20's variation but perhaps someone else will know.

                  What a nice piece!

                  That must be one of the earliest SS kepis around....................dating from the mid-late 1920s I would think.

                  Another example of the variety that can be found with kepis.
