Hello Erich,

Can you tell what the piping material is? It looks like it might be the same material used for soutaches, with half hidden below the edge and sewn in? Perhaps you can tell with it in hand. Quite a nice haul you have had lately. Wonderful hat that even non KM collectors have to love.

Richard, it could well be the same material as soutache, I only have one to go by. There seems to be just the edge showing with perhaps a few mm's hidden under the lining if that makes sense.
I have a few more hats for review,and will post them in the next few days. Hopefully, they will be as well received as this one.
