    WM Cap 1939

    Hello

    Last week i bought my first cap. I'm very pleased with it. As i don't have much experience with this, i would like to know more about this cap.

    It is an wehrmacht cap from the maker: J. Denecke, Uniformmützenfabrik, Burgdorf / Hann. and it has date stamp 1939. I think it is size 60. There's a safety pin in the middle (on the inside) but i don't know why this is done. (Maybe to keep its shape?)

    Hope the picture are enough to make a judgement on this cap.

        Nice cap!

        The pin was there to give it the "cool" shape and was strictly against regulations, but tolerated.
