    Unknown german visor.

    Can anyone help me with identifying this visor? This man appeirs to be standing in a large group photo with many other german heer soldiers.

    Any help would be welcome!

      Just did a quick wikipedia search, and this organisation was part of the DAF. Here's a flyer which shows the symbol which is simular to his hat I think...

        While it cannot be made out in this photograph, the lettering on the cap says Führungsdienst. (roughly "Guides Service")
        It was worn by personnel who acted as official tour guides on KdF-organized trips; worn along with the visor was a cuffband with the same word.

            You are correct--it is one of the rarest regular-production visors. I have never seen one, real or fake--I would be surprised if even one is left on the planet today (but we can always hope).
