    True Cavalry Cap!

    This salty dog came with the rest of the uniform, and is full of character. Looks like it really saw some field use! Regards, Robert

                The tunic is named to a Major; the rank on it is LtCol and it's dated 1939 so he was a cavalryman Major in the first year of the war. His name is hard to make out.

                This set was brought back from Europe by an OSS man, and I bought it from the estate auction. The hat was actually purchased by another buyer, but he was nice enough to trade out with me so I could keep the set together.
